AVENUE
Presented at Absolutely Cultured's event Urban Legends: Northern Lights, Avenue spanned the length of Parliament Street in Hull. Featuring additional designs by Toni Lee and acclaimed Hull-born mid century designer Shirley Craven, the piece explored historical links from Hull across the North Sea to Västra Götaland in Sweden, using an overarching theme of 20th century textiles and drawing on research made of archival fabrics from Sweden's Textill Museet.
