PRINTWORKS


Commissioned as part of Electric Glen and produced by East Renfrewshire Council, in additional collaboration with Light RefreshmentPrintworks was shown in Rouken Glen Park, and reflected on the creative and commercial history of the area, which was once home to Thornliebank Printworks. The firm was famed for the vibrancy of its dyes, and designs from the 1814 sample book were used to inform the development of new patterns for the artwork.
